Baby's First Christmas and New Year

Well, Baby Olivia had such a great Holiday Season! Christmas Eve was spent with Mommy and Daddy... Normally we go to My Uncle and Aunts house, but since the flu is going around and so many people attend we decided to stay in. Great Grammy Vallo even gave us our traditional Christmas eve dinner of Home-made Mushroom soup and Shrimp Cocktail. I made pierogies too! I spent the rest of the night wrapping gifts - and preparing a very special surprise gift for Daddy and Olivia.  I had gotten a years membership for 2013 to the Zoo & Rainforest! Earlier in the day I ran to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo to get a cute stuffed animal to add to the surprise. It started to snow and the Lions looked so cool - I decided to make a card with the Lions picture on it - But a zoo employee took my picture with the Lions and snow! I made a cool 2 part poster, and wrapped them. Christmas Morning was nice, we waited to open presents until Grandma and Grandpa Vallo came over :) It was so nice. We made ham and had a bunch or goodies for family to eat. Aunt Lisa had to work, so she brought over presents a few days earlier. She got Baby a Beautiful keepsake snowglobe and humidifier. Grandma and Grandpa Vallo and Garvin got sooooo many wonderful toys and gifts! Aunt Terry, Uncle Brian, Sarah, Arnaud, Uncle Rich, Grammy Vallo, and Uncle Danny & Aunt Amanda brought gifts too!!! Really, at the end of the day we felt so blessed and grateful for all of the amazing gifts and love that we felt. My husband got me a very special card and such a beautifully thoughtful gift that literally brought tears to my eyes.I really enjoyed the imported chocolates from Belgium that Sarah and Arnaud gave. Thank goodness my Parents bought me Zumba 2 for the Wii :)  The most precious and beautiful gift was being with my husband and little princess Olivia. I cannot wait to celebrate many more holidays as a family.

I wanted to start a Blog about our beautiful life after our first born daughter Olivia was born....Brian and I have had such an amazing journey since our wedding on September 17th 2011. 9 months after our Honeymoon (yes a honeymoon baby) we welcomed Olivia Grace into our new family. We took some time out to get used to being first time parents, and although we never thought we would be getting over 3 hours of sleep, we finally are! I am late to the party so-to-speak , as our little girl just turned 6 months old on December 24th 2012. I feel as though it was just yesterday when she was born - so rest assured everything is fresh on my mind, and I will have no problem remembering every single detail.
